What We Inspect A home inspection is a visual examination of the structure and systems of a home. It includes an evaluation of the condition of the home's various systems. If problems or symptoms are found, it will be included in the report, and you may be referred to an expert for further evaluation. There are five basic areas we cover for each home: Structure - Foundation and Framing Mechanicals - Heating, Plumbing, Electrical and Air Conditioning Systems Roof - Roof Coverings, Roof Structure and Attic Exterior - Sidings, Grading, Doors, Windows, and Garage Interior - Bedrooms, Baths, Kitchen, Ceilings, Floors, Stairways and common built-in Appliances Within each of the above areas there are tens (and in some, hundreds) of items that are individually checked and reported on, giving you a comprehensive view of the property condition.
